Château Laballe Les Terres Basses Blanc Sec

$35.00

Château Laballe is located in the heart of the Sud-Ouest, in the Côtes de Gascogne, between the Landes and the Gers and was granted AOC status in 1981. The area consists of various soil types, including alluvial soils, slate, salt and clay, combined with the Atlantic climate and the grape varieties Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc and Ugni Blanc, which together produce crisp wines with a rich aromatic palette. The concentration of oxidized iron gives freshness and minerals to the wine.

A wine unable to deny its origin : Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Sauvignon, clearly Gascogne! Crisp, fresh and fruity, an easy drinking aperitif wine. Great accompanying summer cuisine such as fish and white meat thanks to the elegance of the Sauvignon and freshness of Colombard. Golden yellow color. Grapefruit, stone fruit on the nose. Flavours of citrus, minerals, tropical fruit (pineapple, peach), a light sweet touch, but certainly not a sweet white wine. Fresh, mineral and a good balance.
