Château Laballe Sables Fauves Landes Blanc Sec
Château Laballe is located in the heart of the Sud-Ouest, in the Côtes de Gascogne, between the Landes and the Gers and was granted AOC status in 1981. The area consists of various soil types, including alluvial soils, slate, salt and clay, combined with the Atlantic climate and the grape varieties Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc and Ugni Blanc, which together produce crisp wines with a rich aromatic palette. The concentration of oxidized iron gives freshness and minerals to the wine.
The idea is to maintain and emphasize the minerality inherited from the soils of the Sables Fauves in contrast to notes of fruit: Evolving with notes of yellow stone fruits, succulent aromas of peach, apricot and citrus fruits; resulting in a wine which is fresh and crisp with a balanced medium body that arouses your taste buds during an aperitif, it is sublime with sea food, fish and white meat.
