Château Laballe Raisin Volé – Clos Cazalet

$45.00

Château Laballe is located in the heart of the Sud-Ouest, in the Côtes de Gascogne, between the Landes and the Gers and was granted AOC status in 1981. The area consists of various soil types, including alluvial soils, slate, salt and clay, combined with the Atlantic climate and the grape varieties Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc and Ugni Blanc, which together produce crisp wines with a rich aromatic palette. The concentration of oxidized iron gives freshness and minerals to the wine.

In the heart of appellation , Clos Cazalet is a rare independant domaine of Tursan. Raisin Volé is ageing with the utmost respect of Landes traditions.

Raisin Volé du Clos Cazalet from the Laballe vineyards has a deep garnet color. Its nose reveals aromas of red fruits and liquorice. This Tursan offers a biting and lively mouth on the attack. It lingers deliciously, with supple tannins giving a long and spicy finish.

This Tursan is harvested manually and aged for 4 months in oak barrels. The Tursan terroir benefits from a privileged climatic situation, bordered by the great Landes forest, the first folds of the oceanic Pyrenees and the banks of the Adour. Clos Cazalet extends over clay-limestone and clay-siliceous hillsides.
