A complex wine that is released from the first tasting: dry, warm, with dense tannins, yet smoothed by ageing in wood. Minerality and sapidity give it a high drinkability and taste- olfactory persistence, which allows returns of spicy and mineral notes in the retronasal finish. Amastuola organic wine has an intense ruby- red colour with a high chromatic depth. The nose is fruity with a hint of cinnamon, tobacco and black chocolate. Aged 18 months in sessile oak barrels.
