The Côtes Catalanes Love is another Syrah cuvee from this estate and it’s still aging in amphora. Notes of spices, cured meats, earth and licorice are grounded by a core of dark, black fruits. Medium to full-bodied, ripe and balanced, with notable tannin, it will be better with short-term cellaring and drink well for a decade. I'm thrilled to see vignerons experimented with amphora and larger oak barrels, and I can't wait to try this from bottle.
